DNOW is a weekend retreat designed for middle and high school students to grow in their faith through Bible study, worship, small group discussions, and fun activities. It aims to deepen students’ relationship with Christ.

The event will take place on October 11th-13th at New Faith Baptist Church. Some activities, such as service projects, will take place at host homes or off-site locations.

DNOW is open to all middle and high school students (grades 6-12). Friends and guests are welcome to join!

The cost is $75. This covers meals, lodging, and activities.

You can pay by cash or making a check out to New Faith Baptist Church. Payment is due by October 9th. For payments past the deadline there is a late fee of $25.

We don’t want cost to be a barrier to attending. Scholarships and financial assistance may be available. Please contact our Pastor of Family Ministries Jonathan Fahl at jfahl@newfaithbaptistchurch.net for more information.

Pack clothes for the weekend, including casual and comfortable clothing for activities, a Bible, a notebook, toiletries, bedding (sleeping bag/pillow for staying in a host home), and any personal items. A detailed packing list will be provided closer to the event.

Students will stay at host homes, grouped by age and gender, and supervised by adult leaders. The host homes are local families from our church.

The weekend includes worship sessions, small group discussions, Bible study, service projects, and recreational activities. There will also be opportunities for prayer and reflection.

Yes, transportation to and from all off-site activities will be provided by the church and adult leaders.

All meals are included in the cost of the retreat, beginning with dinner on Friday night and ending with breakfast on Sunday.

The theme for this year’s retreat is Identity: What Does God Say About Who You Are?” The focus will be on understanding our identity in Christ.

Parents can support DNOW by volunteering to providing meals or snacks, helping with transportation, and praying for the students and leaders.

Parents are invited to attend the final worship service on Sunday morning and are welcome to volunteer throughout the weekend. Let us know if you’d like to get involved! Email Jonathan Fahl, Pastor of Family Ministries, at jfahl@newfaithbaptistchurch.net.
